Audio Visual Events has recently invested heavily in products that utilise the SDI protocol (Serial Digital Interface). We now boast a complete range of SDI compatible equipment to ensure the visuals of your next show are of the highest quality. So what's so good about SDI? Broadcast production have been using it for years now as the most successful and competent method of transmitting digital video signals. It has an impressive range of capabilities yet uses inexpensive coaxial cable with standard BNC connectors - no signal interference typically found with RGBHV cables.

Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn
Ten thousand Sydney-siders laced up their running shoes for the annual Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn - with a record figure of $2.3million raised over the weekend to purchase vital medical equipment for children's hospitals and health services centres across Australia.

Audio Visual Events again provided complete technical support for this event. The set up consisted of a four camera OB setup with signal being sent to two large LED screens; multiple PA systems distributed up and down Awaba Street; and the main marquee and stage area which hosted performances from Hi5 and Justice Crew.

By all reports the event was again an enormous success and Audio Visual Events looks forward to once more supporting the race in 2012.

The AVE Team

We have recently invested in some truly innovative audio visual products. On the lighting side of things we acquired more Martin Mac 700s for that extra punch and the new Martin Mac 350 Entours. The 350 Entours are a super bright LED light that is brighter than a Mac 250 but in a much smaller form factor. They use less power and have a whopping 60,000 hour lamp life.

On the audio side we have added the brand new K-Array Redline speakers to the fleet. The speakers are designed to take up the least amount of room possible while creating a clear dynamic range with the punch of a much larger speaker, perfect for instances where space is at a premium or where you don't want speakers to be a prominent factor in your room. These speakers have to be seen and heard to be believed. We have both the KR100s and the KR200s series speakers. Come in to our office for a demo.

 

 

Audio Visual Events is proud to announce that our new Christie HD 10K-M Roadster projectors have arrived. These new high end projectors boast full HD 3 DLP technology to give the sharpest image possible. The Christies come ready to go with a robust stacking frame that is so easy to set up you will have it stacked and ready to hang in seconds thanks to its simple but strong pin lock system.

These projectors have the Christie Twist system installed to enable powerful multi projector blending and warping. The ability to control the projectors by a variety of interfaces is added advantage. Control options include the IR remote (cabled or IR), RS232, ethernet and DMX (through ARTNET). We have a variety of lenses to suit your application. Audio Visual Events continues to stay up to date with the latest technologies. We have an extensive new range of full HD (1920x1080 pixels) products for superior image quality.

Some of our latest acquisitions include the Christie ROADSTER HD10K-M which boasts 10,000 ANSI Lumens and superior image quality. We also purchased the Barco CLM HD8 projectors which will greatly enhance your event with a truly awesome image quality and flexibility.

On the camera side of things we now have the ability to output HD via SDI with the new Sony HXR-NX5P ccamera. This camera features a tapeless workflow and can record over 11 hours of continuous video at full resolution. Great for those long conferences. We also offer the new Samsung 3D LCD screens for that extra dimension.
