Audio Visual Events has recently invested heavily in products that utilise the SDI protocol (Serial Digital Interface). We now boast a complete range of SDI compatible equipment to ensure the visuals of your next show are of the highest quality. So what's so good about SDI? Broadcast production have been using it for years now as the most successful and competent method of transmitting digital video signals. It has an impressive range of capabilities yet uses inexpensive coaxial cable with standard BNC connectors - no signal interference typically found with RGBHV cables.

Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn
Ten thousand Sydney-siders laced up their running shoes for the annual Humpty Dumpty Balmoral Burn - with a record figure of $2.3million raised over the weekend to purchase vital medical equipment for children's hospitals and health services centres across Australia.

Audio Visual Events again provided complete technical support for this event. The set up consisted of a four camera OB setup with signal being sent to two large LED screens; multiple PA systems distributed up and down Awaba Street; and the main marquee and stage area which hosted performances from Hi5 and Justice Crew.

By all reports the event was again an enormous success and Audio Visual Events looks forward to once more supporting the race in 2012.
