Climate Friendly
Audio Visual Events takes acting on climate change very seriously. We have made big steps to reduce our impact on the climate by offsetting all the electricity used by or offices and warehouse and all of the emissions created by our vehicle fleet with carbon credits from Climate Friendly®. Climate Friendly is rated by Carbon Offset Watch as Australia's leading provider of quality carbon credits.
How it all works
To minimise our impact on the environment Audio Visual Events purchases carbon credits. These carbon credits pay for the amount of carbon we produce. These carbon credits help support projects such as wind and hydro-electricity in various countries around the world. To view these projects visit the Climate Friendly website or view in pdf.
We walk the talk
Other companies claim to be 'carbon neutral' or 'green' without backing up what they say. We are are completely transparent with our claims when it comes to our environmental credentials. Our offsets include:
- Our entire vehicle fleet - 100,347km = 26.92 Tonnes of carbon (for 09/10 financial year)
- All the electricity used by warehouse and offices - 35.64MWhs = 38.13 Tonnes (for 09/10 financial year)

Other initiatives
- Where possible we use energy efficient lighting in our warehouse and offices
- We have a large range of energy efficient LED lights used for production
- All our trucks and vans use diesel fuel which is produces less carbon than petrol engines
- We offer carbon offsets to clients to reduce the effect events have on the environment.
